19th Century Cast Iron Court Jester W Dog or Mr. Punch Door Stop

A very interesting antique doorstop
Well modeled cast iron featuring a court jester with his dog, most likely a depiction of Mr. Punch, a comic character from traditional British puppet shows, similar to the Italian Commedia Dell’Arte, which were taking place during fairs and festivities since 17th century. Mr. Punch would interact with his wife Judy, creating laugh-out-loud skits.
